A Year of Creating Spaces That Endure
Reflecting on the projects, people, and principles that shaped our year, and looking ahead to 2026.
Hello,
As 2025 draws to a close, we find ourselves reflecting on the year that has passed and the spaces we’ve had the privilege to create.
This year brought us remarkable collaborations. Residences where families will gather for decades. Commercial spaces that inspire those who work within them. Each project a testament to the power of thoughtful design.
What Shaped This Year
We completed a number of projects across Kenya and beyond. Each one unique. Each one a collaboration that pushed us to think deeper about living, comfort, utility, light, materiality, and proportion.
One project in particular stays with us: We redid a kitchen for an elderly matriarch in Eldoret. Watching that space come to life and the radiant smile on her face reminded us why we do this work.
We also had the honor of working with clients building from abroad – managing every detail on the ground so their vision could be realized with precision, no matter where they were.
We Learnt..
The best projects aren’t the fastest ones. They’re the ones where we take time to get every detail right. Where we source the perfect stone, even if it takes months. Where we work with craftspeople who care as much as we do.
Timeless design can’t be rushed. And our clients understand this.
Looking Ahead.
As we enter 2025, we’re beginning to plan new commissions. Projects that will define how people live, work, and gather for years to come.
If you’re considering a project or know someone who is, we’d love to begin a conversation.
To everyone who trusted us with their spaces this year: thank you. To those we’ve yet to work with: we hope our paths cross in the year ahead.
May your December be filled with light, warmth, and the people you cherish most.
Happy Holidays!
